SunSized collects only the information reasonably needed to prepare preliminary solar and battery guidance, communicate with you by email, review project details, and coordinate a contractor introduction when requested.
Information we collect
Depending on what you submit, we may collect your name, email address, optional phone number, property address, utility, energy usage, project goals, roof and property details, future electric loads, battery preferences, uploaded utility bills or screenshots, and the recommendation generated from your answers.
Please cover or remove utility account numbers and other information that is not needed before uploading a document.
Technical information collected automatically
When you use the website, our hosting and form-service providers may automatically receive limited technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, referring page, and basic request or security logs. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use submitted information to create and email your preliminary recommendation, save and organize the lead, verify details, respond to questions, request missing information, improve the SunSized experience, prevent duplicate or fraudulent submissions, and coordinate an introduction to an appropriate qualified contractor when you choose to move forward.
How information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that help operate the website, receive form submissions, store project records, send email, and maintain business systems. When a homeowner asks to move forward, relevant project information may be shared with an appropriate contractor for the purpose of evaluating the project and communicating with the homeowner.
SunSized does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Utility bills and uploaded documents
Uploaded documents are not analyzed instantly in the browser. They may be stored with the lead and reviewed by SunSized to verify usage, utility, rate-plan, or existing-system information. Do not upload documents containing information unrelated to the solar or battery project.
Email communication
SunSized communicates primarily by email so you can review information in your own time. We do not call or text unless you specifically request it. You may ask us to stop non-essential follow-up email at any time by replying to an email from SunSized.
Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, maintain project and business records, prevent duplicate submissions, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with your submission by emailing sunsizedsolar@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal, security, or recordkeeping purposes.

SunSized is not currently representing that it is subject to every provision of the California Consumer Privacy Act. Regardless, we aim to honor reasonable access, correction, and deletion requests and do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly understood.
